Whiskey Review : Larceny Small Batch

Larceny Small Batch Whiskey Review

Larceny Small Batch is a wheated bourbon whiskey produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. It has an ABV of 46% [92 proof]. The company claims that this whiskey is crafted from a recipe that has been passed down through generations.

Price: $24.99 at my local liquor store.

Nose: At first pour, I detected a sweet aroma with hints of honey and vanilla. The scent is not overpowering, but it is definitely present. I also noticed a subtle hint of oak and caramel.

Taste: Larceny Small Batch is a smooth, easy-to-drink whiskey with a lot of flavor. On the palate, I could taste notes of butterscotch, caramel, and honey. The sweetness is well-balanced with hints of oak and spice, which gives it a nice complexity. The finish is long and smooth, with a slight burn that lingers on the tongue.

Overall review: 8.5/10. I enjoyed drinking Larceny Small Batch and would definitely purchase it again. It is a great whiskey to sip neat, but it also makes a nice base for cocktails. The price is also reasonable, considering the quality of the whiskey.
